South Indian stars who married more than once

There are several South Indian celebrities who have married more than once. While some of these stars prefer not to maintain any relationship with their exes, others share a comfortable equation with them.

Let's take a look at some South Indian stars who tied the knot more than once.

Nagarjuna-Amala

The superstar has married twice. He got hitched to Lakshmi Daggubati in 1984. Naga Chaitanya, a sought-after South Indian actor today, is the son of Nagarjuna and Lakshmi. However, the couple divorced in 1990.

The actor, then got married to the actress Amala Akkineni. Actor Akhil Akkineni is their son.

Kamal Haasan and Vani Ganapathy

In 1978, at the age of 24, Kamal Haasan got married to Vani Ganapathy, a renowned classical dancer. They divorced ten years later.

And then, the actor went on to marry superstar Sarika in 1988. In 2004, however, the couple got divorced.

Dileep

Malayalam actor Dileep, too has married twice. He got married to Manju Warrier in 1998. They got divorced in 2015. Then he went on to marry Kavya Madhavan in 2016.

Pawan Kalyan

The renowned actor has married thrice till date. He got married to Nandini in 1997 and got divorced in 2007, then married Renu Desai, divorced in 2012 and thereafter got hitched to Anna Lezhneva in 2013.

Kavya Madhavan

She first got married to Nishal Chandra in 2009 and got divorced in 2011. She then dated Malayalam actor Dileep and got hitched to him in 2016.

Prakash Raj

Prakash Raj married Tamil film actress Lalitha Kumari in 1994 and divorced her in 2009 to get married to much younger choreographer Pony Verma in 2010. 

Gemini Ganesan

The actor married four times. At 19, married Alamelu, married Savitri later, then got hitched to Pushpavalli and later on to Julianna. 

Radhika

The South Indian actress first married Pratap K Pothen then Richard Hardy and then R Sarathkumar.

Lakshmi

She first got married to Bhaskaran, the Mohan Sharma and then Sivachandran.

M G Ramachandran

He got married to Bargavi then S Athanadavathhi and then to VN Janaki.

Urvashi 

Kavitha Ranjini, known by the stage name Urvashi, is an Indian film actress, Television host and producer. Urvashi was a prominent lead actress of the 1980s and 1990s, primarily in Malayalam and Tamil films

Urvashi married film actor Manoj K. Jayan on 11 October 2000. They have a daughter Tejalakshmi, born in 2001. 

After divorce from her first husband Manoj K. Jayan in 2008, Urvashi married Chennai based builder Sivaprasad on November 2013. The couple had a boy on August 2014, named Ishaan Prajapathi
