Actress Deepa, popularly known for her works in the Tamil film industry, has reportedly died by suicide. Aged 29, her real name was Pauline Jessica. The Vaidhaa actress was found dead hanging at her Chennai residence. Reports suggest that she took such a drastic step owing to issues in her love life.
Powlen Jessica aka Deepa is a South Indian actress and social media influencer who primarily works in Kollywood Industry. She was committed suicide and found dead at her home in Virugambakkam, Chennai on Sunday (Sep 18). Powlen is well known for movies like Ratsasan, Thupparivaalan, and more. She also played a lead role in Vaaitha. Jessica was in a love relationship with Siraj Uddin asst director.
According to reports, she was depressed in her love life, which made her take a hard decision. Celebrities and media persons conveyed heartfelt condolences to Powlen’s family and pray for the departed soul to rest in peace. She was 29.

She had created multiple reel videos and impressed her fans with her acting prowess.
Recently, popular lyricist Kabilan’s daughter Thoorigai died by suicide at the age of 28. Thoorigai was found hanging at her residence on September 10.
Reports said Thoorigai’s parents forced her to marry following which she took her life. The deceased was a fashion designer and writer and had worked in several Tamil films. She also launched a digital magazine for women in 2020.
